About the Guest House
The Guest House was built alongside the monastery so that it allows a wide range of people to visit and experience this special location and life at this monastery, and the income from accommodating guests will directly go towards supporting the running costs of monastery.
Almost 200 monks live and study here and guests participate in their daily practice, eat alongside them, and experience monastic life first-hand in a the most peaceful environment.
There are in total 23 guest rooms. Rooms are simple, clean and personal. Each room has a double bed or two single beds with comfortable mattresses and fresh bedsheets/linen.
Room colours are calm using earth colours with cool tiled floors. Every room has a small balcony with a screen to keep away insects from the outside.
South facing rooms have a view of the monastery and north facing rooms, a view over the Hattiban forest (and the eagles that circle above it) and Bhanjang village below it.
Each room too has a clean bathroom with bath and shower and a modern western-styled toilet.
